Getting the ball rolling

I'm known as the DisjointedRhymer,
But my name is Ruth never Ruthie.
To some friends I'm Ilana or Tree,
Or any other name they think of for me.

I'm not all that tall at only six foot,
And as for my weight you don't need to know.
I do love my food in generous helpings,
Plus scoffing down donuts but that doesn't show.

I've got brownish hair with a touch of blonde,
And eyes that are subject to change.
As for my skin, that's olive toned,
And a tan I can quickly arrange.

My hobbies include,
But aren't limited to.
Rocks, motors and reading,
Writing a rhyme or two.

In five different sports,
I played for my school.
Now I like walking and climbing,
But not when its too cool.

I drive a Honda Jazz,
Steelers pennant proudly on show.
And this year yet again,
To win the Super Bowl we'll go.

The other sport that I follow,
Is the bikes of the BSB.
Assuming someone gives him a ride,
Rooting for the gentlemanly Hicky.

So that's me really,
I can't think of more to say.

Wow, whether it's recycled or not, I think that's a wonderful way of introducing yourself: very creative and poetic. There couldn't really be an any more perfect way of introducing yourself!
